An Improved System and Method for Wireless Power Charging A system and method for wireless power charging of electronic devices by wireless power transmitting devices is provided. The wireless power transmitting devices are associated with a unique identification number (UIN), which is used by the electronic device for connecting to wireless power transmitting device for receiving wireless power. Prior to connection and reception for wireless power transfer, the wireless power transmitting device UIN and electronic device credentials may be authenticated either by a server or at the wireless power charger end for initiating charging. The authentication may be done through end-to-end data network connectivity or even without any initial data network connectivity. The invention provides for a robust and a cost effective wireless power charging system and method with effective data exchange between various components of the wireless charging system and without any complex infrastructural system requirements.
