It all started when Mr Vivek Pandey (Founder) being an avid trekker, mountaineer, explorer and traveller at heart, travelling and operating in Himalayas since 1998 revisited a Himalayan glacier for a training course. A long gap of almost two decades had almost dwindled the memory of the sheer beauty and magnificence of being on a glacier under the towering peak, it was mesmerizing to say the least and it got us thinking as to why shouldn’t more people experience this. Nature in all its glory. We decided to start Viva Monte – for exclusive Glacier and Mountain Expeditions. While the glacier is the goal the journey is an experience of a lifetime as you will walk through some of the most picturesque valleys, high mountain passes, wind around gushing white water rivers and streams through forests and alpine meadows and see some of the most breath-taking flora and fauna endemic to the high altitudes of the Himalayan ranges.
