Innovative Idea: Increasing carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere, environmental and health hazards due to it and the requirement of irrigated land, fertile soil and sufficient solar light to grow plants, the only biological alternative to mitigate carbon dioxide, has led to the innovation of a new device called ALGFLOW. It is an inexpensive, simple, portable device that can be used for indoor cultivation of microalgae, and can be placed anywhere inside our homes and offices as an ornamental item. For this, the seeds of microalgae with different shades as well as the prototype of ALGFLOW device is available with us. The main body of the ALGFLOW device has been made with transparent plastic or glass to give it a beautiful look and stability. Microalgae can be cultivated in this device using the wastewater generated either from kitchen or RO water purifier. The water in this device needs to be changed once in 20 days. Besides, the device has proper arrangement of artificial illumination using LED lights and a rechargeable battery.
