PayU India is the Indian payments business of Prosus (majority-owned by Naspers), operating as a payment gateway and aggregator that lets merchants accept online and offline payments across cards, UPI, net banking, EMI, BNPL and wallets. The PayU-branded gateway launched in India around 2011 under the ibibo group and later became a standalone business. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Prosus and has expanded via acquisitions such as Citrus Pay and Wibmo.
PayU enables businesses in India to accept digital payments from credit cards, debit cards, net banking, BNPL, QR, UPI, Wallets and more.
