Ltd., initially would be doing assembly of SFP (Small Form Pluggable / Trans Receivers) and later on within a span of 6 to 8 months will start manufacturing the same locally. If we assemble SFP in India instead of direct Import of SFP, there is a cost saving of around 20% in the total import bill. There is large demand for SFP in various items and hence Foreign Currency saving to INDIA would be substantial. The saving will increase once we start manufacturing of SFP in India. SFP Configuration: SFP consist of TOSHA, BOSA, Printed Circuit Board, Rubber Part for dust protection and metallic cover. Uses of SFP: SFP is used in Data Switches and Routers.
