Bamboo can play a vital role in solving the problem of Climate Change. But farmers are unwilling to take up bamboo plantations as profitability is limited due to unorganised demand and poor yield management giving rise to high costs for subsequent bamboo industries. India is 2nd largest Bamboo growing country in the world, still hardly any Bamboo products are produced in India in bulk quantities.
