Kumaon Himalayas is one such stellar biodiverse system, rich in its agricultural flora and myriad mountain landscape. The lands of Kumaon are rich in minerals and naturally occurring fertilizers. Mountain farming is largely family farming, cultivating patches of usable lands dispersed at difference altitudes.
