The growing demand of animal protein increases every day as population grows. Animal husbandries serve as main resource of protein which is expected to have great demand for feed in future. The existing raw materials for feed production like fish meal, soy meals are costlier than formulated feeds as they are from limited natural resources like land, water, seasons. Hence, a cost-effective novel material which could be from industrial means of production is warranted. Biofloc meal is the product of bioprocess technology which convert inorganic nitrogen to proteins. As it is suitable for industrial mean of production there is scale up possibilities for supply against demand. Cost and parameters are far better than currently used fish meals and soy meals. Clean, green and ecofriendly characters are also added advantages for technology adoption. Commercial values and bio-geo-compatibilities are already well established.
