The company was conceptualized with the idea to manufacture machines for local needs. The company invests in the research and design of machines. Doing so will ease the hard labor in the food processing sector. For example, bamboo shoot processing is one of the biggest food processing businesses in our state Manipur, but the mechanization remains low. It remains as it was 200 years ago. With this view in mind, we are currently designing a bamboo shoot peel removal machine. At the same time, a shoot slicer is also designed. Bamboo shoot processing possesses challenges due to its conical shape and hard multi-layer peel. We have also successfully designed multifunctional slicing machines (amenable for ginger, turmeric, potato, banana, cassava, etc.) and portable solar drying system. They have been commercialized. Besides designing a new machine, we are also involved in the supply, installation, and maintenance of machinery for local food processing units (Eg. bakery, water packaging, fruit canning, etc.).
