About Imani Foundation

Imani Foundation is an Indian non-profit organization headquartered in Assam, India. The Foundation strives to eliminate classroom hunger by implementing the Mid-Day Meal Programme. It provides nutritious meals to children studying in Government schools and Government-aided schools. Imani Foundation also aims to counter malnutrition and support right to education of children hailing from socio-economically challenging backgrounds. The groundwork for a better life lies in education. It is the most powerful catalyst for social transformation. However, a child cannot be educated in isolation. Only an empowered family, especially the mother, would be willing to educate their child. Thus, rather than focusing on only one stage of a person's life, we believe in the lifecycle approach. Imani Foundation has been concerting all its efforts towards providing fresh and nutritious meals to children on every single school day. We are continuously leveraging technology to multiply our reach Our partnership with the Government of India and various State Governments, along with the persistent support from corporates, individual donors, and well-wishers have helped us to grow. <
