FemtoFarad Pvt Ltd is a November 2019 registered biotechnology startup that produces a line of plant-based meat products with natural non-GMO microalgae derived flavourants. Our research is novel and focused at identifying flavourants in natural non-GMO microalgae isolated from coastal Odisha. It conforms to UN Sustainability Goals and has been recognised by Royal Academy of Engineering (UK) for its prestigious Leaders in Innovation Fellowships. FemtoFarad has been granted funding (Rs 50 lakhs) to develop our R&D under Biotechnology Ignition Grant 2021 (BIG) from BIRAC, Dept. of Biotechnology, Govt. of India
