About Dunzo

Dunzo was a Bengaluru-based hyperlocal delivery and quick-commerce company founded in 2014, backed by Reliance Retail (its largest shareholder) and Google. After a failed dark-store 'Dunzo Daily' quick-commerce pivot and severe financial distress, it shut down its app and operations in January 2025 following CEO Kabeer Biswas's exit to Flipkart. The legal entity, Dunzo Digital Private Limited, is under a Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP), and Reliance has written off its ~$200M investment.
