Doorstep Veterinary Services Pvt. Ltd. (called as DVS in short) works for extending various veterinary services to the farmers through promotion of livestock resource persons (LRPs) from among the beneficiaries in the remote localities bereft of mainstream services. Each LRP, who works for 300 households, owns a Livestock Resource Center (LRC) in his/her village by which doorstep veterinary & husbandry services are rendered to the farmers at reasonable price. Besides this, training and awareness generation of its beneficiaries on improved farming technology are conducted the veterinarians. The services extended by DVS are animal vaccination & treatment, artificial insemination, supply of feed, supplements, farmers’ training, and veterinary consultancy among others.
