River Tourism is still a novice subject in Assam though lately the Govt. has understand the potentiality that this sector promises when it comes to exploiting it, without damaging the eco-system, for Tourism & Hospitality purpose.Now, even World Bank will be funding Tourism & Inland Water Transport Dept., of Govt of Assam to boost trade & tourism on the river Brahmaputra.There are few cruises sailing in the Brahmaputra river mostly into night stay packages for long distance and as such with awareness of river tourism there is a huge scope for short duration cruise that can operate for 80-100 pax with conference facility and an exquisite fine dining, lounge bar and disc with live music and that's what we wanted to venture into in giving the guests a class on a breathtaking river blessed with rich bio-diversity of flora & fauna.We also wanted to open a first of kind floating marketplace where we want to house indigenous & exotic products of NE started by startups,SHGs,etc besides having some unique lip smacking snacks counter.We want to add a new dimension of making our destination as a new tourism hotspot in Guwahati.
