AST Alloys India Pvt Ltd will be dealing with manufacturing of Type-4 composite cylinders which is in use for storing LPG/CNG Hydrogen fuel cells. Currently only Type-1 and Type-3 metal cylinders are used which is bulky and also weight of the cylinders are very high and hence gas carrying capacity is reduces and also possibility of cylinder explosion due to extreme pressure and conditions. Our composite type-4 cylinders are light in weight and also can carry/store more gas and also safe to operate since it will not explode considering the materials used to manufacturing this type of cylinders. This type of cylinders are made with unique manufacturing process and technology which is only available in advance countries and this will be implemented in India to make this type of cylinders. We also intended to implement turnkey process/solutions for our DRDO fo demilitarisation of defective weapons produced during manufacturing process in arsenal making plants by Indian defence. This process is unique and 1st in India to be implemented if we are successfully shortlisted by DRDO with local technology -Make in India for this process.
