Artnook in the name of the e-commerce portal that we are desirous of setting up under this company. The name artnook depicts a market place for artists and artisans as well as art lovers. Artnook is going to be a place where the artists and artisans can exhibit and art lovers can explore the world of art. We primarily are looking at hobbyists and amateur artists, budding young artists and dying art-forms to gain popularity through our portal. We are planning to set up a portal for various art forms to be displayed. We have thought of the name Artnook which we have identified as the “nook” or ‘nukkad’ i.e. synonymous to a meeting place for artists, artisans and art lovers only exception being that this “nukkad” is online. We feel that there is a lot of talent that can get their due recognition. Our intention is to be inclusive and including the different categories, styles and types of art and make it available to people from different places who love art.
