An innovative concept is a multilayered single unit of PV Cell design & development. This will reduce the PV Panel area and increase the electrical power generating efficiency per PV panel. This will be backed by LIGHT-PIPE technology, where sunlight is transported via OPC. The design concept and idea is to develop a compact unit where sunlight is supplied to silicon cells arranged or piled up in vertical layers. The number of silicon cells is fitted into a single unit is going to reduce the PV panel installation area. Each compact multilayered PV cell unit produces more electrical energy per unit area. This is going to solve the problem of electrical energy generated using the large area where more PV panels are required to put under sunlight in a single plain area. The ratio of electrical energy generated per PV panel to the consumed unit area to install the PV panels is greatly improved, that is depending upon how many cells are vertically arranged and sunlight supplied to them.
