Anmol Shakti FarmerCompany Limited is working for improvement of oyster mushroom cultivation inthe field by introducing sporeless spawn by submerged culture process. Thevariety of oyster mushroom being cultivated is Pleurotus Ostreatus which is highlynutritional and medicinal in nature. The fresh mushroom extract so producedwill be further processed to value-addition in the form of extraction of AromaCompounds which have high biological activity, low toxicity for using in folkmedicine, food, perfume, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries as defoamingagents. The whole of the exercise involves the mushroom growers which are fivehundred and twenty share holders of the Farmer Producer Company. The number ofmembers will be increased after these 520 members are successful for thecreation of livelihood, self employment and becoming Atam Nirbhar by engagingin this useful activity.
