Problem statement. In spite of the large-scale mechanization of agriculture in some parts of the country, most of the agricultural operations in larger parts are carried on by human hand, using simple and conventional tools and implements like wooden plough, sickle, etc. Small sized land holders in India cannot afford to purchase automated or larger machines to perform various operations of agriculture. They depend on labourers and animals for all these activities that deprives them from improvising the efficiency, productivity, and rapidity of their produce. Proposed solution Partial mechanization can be a potential solution to the issue where only a part of the farm work is done by machine. This project aims to reduce the drudgery of labourers and animals in operations like mulching, spraying pesticides, spraying fertilizers, weeding and seed drill by utilizing a completely simple mechanical multi-purpose agriculture machine.
