What to do with old discarded tyres is a growing problem, primarily because tyres are extremely difficult to recycle. When stacked in fields they hold water and become breeding grounds for mosquitos. As more and more cars hit the road, the number of potential waste tyres increase exponentially. Having made some researches about the waste tyre recycling, we understand that none of the above methods is the good solution, as the processing ways cause big waste of the raw material, also generate heavy pollution to the environment. In view of this current situation, Alterno Green Energy (P) Ltd. (AEGPL), has adopted the pyrolysis process as a new and clean solution to recycle the waste tyres into something useful in the form of by-product – Pyro-Oil used as furnace oil or light diesel oil for industrial heating activities.
