Akvotransiro Tech Pvt Ltd was formed to address glaring flaws and limitations of the neglected Inland Water Transport sector in India, with archaic rusting government ferries on one end and primitive mechanised country boats on the other. Likewise, there are no modern or eco-friendly propulsion systems available suitable for our shallow and silt-filled rivers, nor affordable and simple steering and reversing systems. We are on a mission to rectify these limitations by introducing a range of products and technologies which have been all developed in-house, with several applied for patents. They would be modern, simple, robust and affordable with 100% Indian parts and components to make river transport safe, effective and turn many currently unnavigable water bodies into water highways.
