This is the first FFPO of Himachal Pradesh. It was incorporated on 19th September 2020 under the initial 5 pilot project FPOs’. There are 300+ farmers associated as shareholders. The aim of the company is to run “A sustainable circular rural-urban economy”. Projects: 1. Value addition through processing unit: The Company will procure fish from fish farmers and other raw material from other farmers and make value added fish products. These products will be sold in rural and urban areas. 2. Oil Expeller Unit: Mustard will be purchased from farmer and oil will be sold in plastic bottles. DOC Mustard will be sent to feed mill. 3. Fish Feed Mill: Raw material such as wheat, maize, rice will be purchased from farmers and Mustard DOC will come from the Oil expeller unit. The ingredients with vitamin and mineral mixture will be used in making “Floating Fish Feed” Benefits: 1. Rural employment generation 2. Assured market to farmers 3. Local raw material procurement 4. Dividend as additional source of income
