The banana slicer is a machine that would be able to mechanize the slicing of raw banana. Most of the chips production units are slicing the raw banana manually. Expert labour is needed to make thin and equal slices of raw banana which have a sticky sap. They are sliced directly into boiling oil so slices will not stick to each other.
