AccelUAV – Reinventing defence and transforming warfareFounded in 2021 by Animi Gourav, Ashwin Nair, and Animi Goutham an Electrical and Electronics Engineering and mechanical engineering graduates with deep expertise in embedded systems, aerospace design, power systems, battery technology, propulsion, and geospatial technologies—AccelUAV was born with a bold vision: to indigenously build UAVs and aerial robotics for India’s non-defense and emerging defense-tech sectors, with a primary focus on the geospatial industry.Our Journey and Technological InnovationAt a time when India’s geospatial mapping sector heavily depended on Chinese drones like the DJI Phantom 4 Pro—limited by low endurance, lack of PPK (Post-Processing Kinematic) GNSS capabilities, and outdated battery tech—AccelUAV introduced ACE-2, a multirotor quadcopter under the “Small” category.
