The Company is engaged in the business of procuring various types of used diesel engines, refurbishing and reselling to the end user. Big industrial houses who had purchased engines for their generators or for the water extractions at the time of constructions of facility have no more use of these equipment as they have in house gas based power plants and hence wants to scarp these equipments. The Company purchases such equipments, refurbishes them in the Mumbai workshop and makes it usable for another 3-4 years. This involves major overhauling of the engines. If the engine purchased is not in a condition to refurbish then the engine is dismantled and usable parts, if any, are extracted for the other engines.These refurbished equipment is then sold in the rural areas at concessional rates. The customer base consists of small scale business, schools, hospitals and panchayats etc with limited electricity availability. These customers have low budget and limited disposable income available.
