QuanE Energy Raises $500,000 to Make Clean Energy Accessible for Indian Homes

QuanE Energy Tech, a cleantech startup based in Noida, has secured $500,000 in seed funding to bring affordable, smart solar and clean energy solutions to residential communities across India. The investment round was led by Trillion Dollar Venture (TDV) Partners and supported by prominent angel investors, further empowering QuanE’s mission to democratize renewable energy access for housing societies and urban households.

Funding and Investors:

The recent seed round not only brought in $500,000 from TDV Partners, but also saw participation from well-known investors such as Raghunandan G (Zolve, TaxiForSure), Amit Lakhotia (Park+), Ankit Gupta (Brookfields, ex-OYO), and Hari Krishnan Nair (Great Learning). In addition to venture funding, QuanE Energy raised an undisclosed amount in debt and other financial instruments to strengthen its capital base for rapid expansion.

What Does QuanE Energy Do?

Founded by serial cleantech entrepreneurs Akshat Khare and Ankush Vashisht in 2024, QuanE Energy specializes in distributed solar and renewable energy systems for residential use. The company’s offerings span “Energy as a Service” solutions, covering solar energy, EV charging, energy storage, and digital operations & maintenance. By leveraging AI and IoT-powered technology, QuanE provides smart energy analytics, predictive maintenance, cloud-based management, and flexible financing, including models that eliminate upfront costs for homeowners and housing societies.

Impact and Achievements:

QuanE Energy has already demonstrated impact, deploying pilot projects across 13 societies in Mumbai, Pune, and Delhi NCR. Their AI-driven diagnostics and tech-powered monitoring have reportedly delivered strong early outcomes, making solar adoption both accessible and seamless for Indian residents. The startup aims to grow digital onboarding in key metro cities over the next 6 to 12 months, scale up community solar initiatives, and build partnerships with banks, NBFCs, and CSR programs for broader financing support.

Vision for the Future:

The solar industry in India is rapidly expanding, with the residential market estimated to reach $60 billion by 2028. QuanE aims to close the service and accessibility gap for residential customers, addressing high costs, poor service, and lack of transparency. With its innovative technology and customer-focused approach, QuanE Energy aspires to make clean energy as reliable and accessible as any essential home service, supporting India’s national sustainability goals and the government’s ambition of achieving 500 GW of renewable capacity by 2030.
